We became a supplier to WMTR in the summer of 2010. The MD at that time was Neil Poyner who tasked us with supplying multiple CNC Programmers as his current recruitment firm was unable to understand or source his requirements. Despite the complex nature of the roles in question, we went on to fulfil all of his requirements and were subsequently awarded sole supplier status at WMTR.

Soon after fulfilling these initial pieces of recruitment, the MD decided to relocate and asked Selection Matters to source his replacement, which was successfully completed within 4 weeks. The new MD, Alan Cooper, took charge when WMTR had a head count of 19, and it was clear that he had ambitious plans for the business. With our help, that head count has risen to 36 people plus a substantial temporary workforce. Turnover has increased from £1.9M to over £3M in a three-year period. They have been so successful that they have now moved from their 16,500 ft² laboratory to a brand new, custom-made 46,000 ft² laboratory.
