Fiddes Payne are a highly successful UK food manufacturing company who have gone from strength to strength since they were established, gaining notable partnerships and associations with Disney and Pixar and the Jamie Oliver range. When their business went out to tender in 2014, we beat our competitors to become their agency of choice.
As part of their plans for continued growth, Fiddes Payne needed access to high volumes of temporary staff to work both in their production factory across three shifts and in their warehouse. The staffing numbers could fluctuate with very little notice to meet the business needs. In addition all candidates needed to be efficient, prepared and compliant to work within food manufacturing.
We worked closely with the client, attending visits and agreeing to have our own consultants complete work at the production factory – at no charge to the client – to ensure that we had a full understanding of the demands of the role. Armed with our knowledge and first-hand experience, we sourced suitable candidates to not only meet the client’s stringent requirements, but to equip us with a daily, up-to-date list of stand-by candidates should the numbers suddenly increase or a temporary candidate become unavailable at short notice.
We have met and continue to meet every temporary worker we place with the client, and this has enabled us to ensure that each candidate has been tested to meet the compliance requirements at Fiddes Payne. Ultimately, this enables us to supply them with high quality staff members. By September 2014, we supplied Fiddes Payne an average of 10 staff members per day. At the peak of this recruitment partnership, we are now supplying over 40 temporary members of staff each day.
